Due to the cooler temperatures, Saddle Hills County has downgraded the Fire Restriction to a FIRE ADVISORY, as of October 3, 2025. The Fire Advisory is in effect for all areas outside of the Grande Prairie Forest Protection Area.

This Fire Advisory will remain in effect until conditions improve.

Saddle Hills County and the Savanna Ag Society are hosting Farm The Ground Up, a Soil Health Workshop, at the Savanna Rec. Plex, on October 22, 2025, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., with Kris Nichols, Ph.D. from the Food Water Wellness Foundation.
